Review : Vampiric Assignations by Sara York

It is my friend who recommended ‘’Vampiric Assignations to Sara York to me first full let me thank her for introducing such a great book to me . Here is the review of the Vampire Assignations.Hope you like it J
I love reading vampire stories and that’s the reason why I was attracted to this book ! I must say Sara York has a fresh style of writing something that makes her different from author authors.I haven’t seen such a style of writing in any other authors. Vlas Von Heildvic sets his sights on Amber Black and will stop at nothing to take her. She is the key to his future, one where he rules the world. The Protectorate can’t let her fall into the wrong hands, but Maverick’s structured ways mangle the operation, leaving her vulnerable. Once bitten, Amber runs off, scared of what she is becoming. Maverick has to change his ways to save Amber and keep her from altering the balance of power in the vampire world. If he loses Amber to the forces of darkness, the world will forever change, leaving humans under vampire control. With this story we see the same brilliant storytelling and captivating writing that we`ve come to know and love from York. This story is uniquely exciting with a well-developed plotline that keeps you on your toes and guessing. Although this story is quite fast paced, it`s never rushed. York has a well put together world of the supernatural that she presents gradually to the audience. Her descriptions vary from dark to light, the contrast highlighting the battle of `good vs evil ‘going on within the story.

York has created a host of well-developed and unique characters to carry this story forwards. You get to know them quite well and form intense relationships with the major characters in the tale. Some you will love, others you will hate, some you will root for, and some against. There is a character for everyone to identify with in this tale. The character development in this story is also quite unique in that there is no middle ground. The characters are firmly on one side or the other.

Overall, this was a brilliant story that could easily be read as a standalone or as part of the Protectorate series. It was a quick yet enjoyable read.
